Then we sadly hear on Christmas Day, George Michael.
For me, it wasn't until he began his solo career away from Wham! I found his music with a bit more of a soulful edge.
My favorites were with his duets with 2 R&B/soul legends.
Aretha Franklin, "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)", 1987.
And, Mary J. Blige, performing Stevie Wonder's "As", 1999.
Really hard not to listen without a head sway, toe taps, or finger snaps. Which I'm certain is how George would have wanted it.
