My Favorite Super Bowl Ads, 2015

The talk at work tomorrow for most of us will be everyone's thoughts on today's Super Ads during the Super Bowl.

The overwhelmingly least liked ad this year and one of my favorites came from Nationwide Insurance, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. My childhood home and our cars were insured with Nationwide and several former classmates currently work there.

The Nationwide ad I did like featured comedienne/actor Mindy Kaling and actor Matt Damon.


My other favorite ad was 'Lie-am' Neeson's Clash of Clans ad:

My favorite Super Bowl ad - "When I Grow Up"

On the eve of Super Bowl XLVI (46, to those like me who can't count beyond X in Roman numerals), we all wait with great anticipation this year's commercials. While many consider the Apple ad in 1984 to be the best of all time, I would agree.

However my favorite, and the one that had me laughing the hardest was Monster.com's first Super Bowl ad "When I Grow Up" (1999).  As a veteran cube dweller in corporate America, this ad hilariously says what many of us can't.

Grab a wing, nosh on some nachos, and don't forget to check your teeth for spinach dip. Prepare to laugh, cringe and debate over the good and bad of this year's commercials.  Most importantly, enjoy the game.
